Volunteer With Us

The Conversation Project in Boulder County, a program of TRU Community Care, is seeking passionate volunteers to join our team.

TCPBC’s mission is to help people of all ages and backgrounds, share their wishes for care through the end of life. We help do this by engaging in a process called advance care planning (ACP). ACP is for all adults in every stage of life. We want to help people clarify personal values and prepare to talk to the people who matter most about their healthcare wishes.

TCPBC provides educational presentations to groups of all sizes in a variety of settings and the services are free!  We can offer presentations at book clubs, faith communities, support groups, or anywhere people could benefit from ACP education.  We also provide 1:1 coaching for individuals who may need some support, guidance, or a good listener as they process having “The Conversation” with their loved ones, identifying a healthcare agent and /or completing an advanced directive.

TCPBC utilizes volunteers to help make presentations and as “Conversation” coaches.  We provide the PowerPoint and materials for presentations but are also open to the expertise and interest of the volunteer.
